LETHBRIDGE SPORT COUNCIL - Women and Girls Sport Day

Lethbridge Sport Council will be hosting a FREE Women and Girls' Sport Day at Legacy Park on September 28th, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. This event is designed to offer women and girls the chance to explore and participate in a variety of sports, guided by experienced community leaders with expertise in their respective fields.

The day's activities will include a special morning session for mothers and guardians, where they will receive a learning session on the Lethbridge Sport Council’s initiatives and physical literacy, followed by the opportunity to try one of the featured sports. This portion of the event aims to engage families and promote a shared interest in physical activity. The girl's portion of the event will run the entirety of the 10 AM - 3 PM time frame.

The event is open to girls aged 7 to 17, as well as their mothers or women guardians who wish to join us for the morning session. Lunch will be provided as well.
